A website that can generate traffic, perhaps even have an established mailing list, has real value even if it doesn&#039;t sell anything.  The value of the site is very dependent on the industry, the Alexa ranking, the traffic number, the longevity and the potential of the site, but it can add many thousands of dollars to a business&#039; value.</description>
